Just like a deer that craves streams of water, my whole being craves you, God (Psalm 42:1 CEB)
“Happy are people who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness, because they will be fed until they are full” (Matthew 5:6 CEB)
Dear Lord,
I thank you Father for Your greatness and faithfulness. You are true to Your Word and honorable in all things. Father, in these perilous times, let us draw near to You more deeply. Let us crave the secret place where we meet You intimately.
Let us examine our walk, ways, thoughts, and deeds. Let us use our time of worship and waiting as deeply rooted seeds. Let the soil of our hearts be fertile ground. Let us be freed of anything that is keeping us bound.
Tune our ears to Your frequency. Let us not grow weary, but live the life of a believer in Jesus Christ diligently. Let us not cower or become dull in spirit. Let us use the Word to uplift us all, to pick up our cross daily, and bear it.
Keep us in perfect peace as we settle in under Your wings. Protect our minds from unrighteous behaviors and all temptations. Let our desires be rooted in Your presence and Your divine essence. Let us live a life of repentance and reflect daily on Your undeserving mercy.
In Jesus name,
Amen
