Dear Lord,
Thank you for being such a comfort in chaos. Thank you for calming the seas, the waves, and the noise pounding on the earth. Resting in You is the highest form of peace that I have. I know that you are Abba Father, Gracious Papa, and Merciful Adonai. You are the embodiment of love. This gives me such hope even if the world around us is in utter chaos.
You gave us Your most holy Word for instruction, direction, and confirmation. You told us these things would take place and to endure. You stated repeated messages such as “do not fear”, knowing that we would. You invite us into divine intimacy and fellowship to comfort and prepare us.
You forgive our sins and love us deeply. How honored we are to call you Father. How thankful I am that Your mercies are new every morning. How humbled I am that You speak and meet me just where I am.
I pray that we can see how you love us so. That we will not take it for granted and that we stay planted in You.
