Dear Dad,
The world is shifting, we are transitioning, life is unstable, and the earth is groaning. I sometimes wonder, “How did we get here?” Then I remember that chaos entered the world with sin at the doorstep. We are entering an opportune time. We have stepped into a moment to repent and return to our first love – You.
Lord God, I pray we do. I pray that our hearts match our words and that our words match our deeds. I pray that we acknowledge you in our daily activity and make You the priority. I pray that we consider You in our decisions. I pray for the surrounding communities and their safety. I pray for our leaders- that they seek You first. That they have wise counsel and that they do not take for granted the weight of the responsibility.
I pray for our infrastructures, our resources, and our neighborhoods. I pray for the protection. I pray for our families, friends and adversaries. I pray for unbelievers that you reveal Yourself to them and that they follow You.
In all our ways, may we acknowledge You
